What we collect

  • Enquiries. The site has no forms. When you email project@unique-group.com.my you choose what to send — typically your name, company, contact number and project details.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page loads without cookies and reports aggregates only.

Why we use it

We use enquiry emails to answer you and to prepare quotations.

We use analytics to see which pages are read and whether the site works on the devices visitors use.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the enquiry or project they concern is open, plus the records the companies must keep under Malaysian law.

Google Analytics keeps event data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months, the retention periods set on our Analytics property.

Cloudflare Web Analytics keeps no per-visitor record.

Who sees it

Google (analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting, analytics) process this data as service providers on our behalf.

We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing lists.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are Google Analytics'.

Blocking cookies in the browser does not affect the site.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw consent for its use.
